There is a breakwall but you can only go waist high inside the breakwall. The beach is extremely rocky with rocks and coral everywhere. Beach lovers will be sorely disappointed. Open and natural design feels very eco and modern. Watch out for sea urchins any time you are near rocks in the water. There were tons of reef fish, squid and other cool things to look at. We really enjoyed snorkeling near the man made reef in the lagoon. Other special things about the hotel were the nightly activities, exploring the local area and snorkeling on and off site. It is clear that you have built a very beautiful resort, but it is the staff that makes the experience truly extraordinary.
